Higher Education System in Sweden
Higher education in Sweden is divided into three levels, or cycles – first cycle (Bachelor’s level), second cycle (Master’s level) and third cycle (doctoral level). Bachelor’s programmes, also known as undergraduate programmes, take place after upper secondary school (high school) and are usually three years long (180 ECTS credits).
